i have no idea what i'm doing

knowing that whatever i'll do, THEY will talk about me and they'll judge me. I'm not alone. I'm never alone. I'm always watched. I hate how my own best friend just kept telling me every time someone talked about me, even as a way to punish me when he was angry at me. I have the proofs they talked about me, he told me. I'm so scared. I'm the ultimate news of shitty behavior for 1 minute and then I'll be invisible again. I'm sorry i'm like this. If it can help, I hate myself when I'm in public too. I need to destroy my own tongue and limbs so I can be fucking good and I'lkl never do something wrong ever again.

vent

if you're an artist never draw your ocs with your friend's ocs. The same moment your hyperfix will no more be on them cause they'll take and take and take and take and take and take and take, they'll be so angry at you and you'll be the piece of shit that will need to ask sorry for "stopping drawing them" and leave behind (no true) the friend :( And then, when you try to make some sketches cause yeah, it's no more a fucking hyperfix, you still care about them, the friend will just see you as the devil cause OF COURSE you're drawing them cause you feel PITY :( and you hate them :( OF COURSE OF COUSRE OFC OUSE OF COURSE Which just adds up on how much of a devil you are :)

I didn't try, and she stopped caring

I thought love was just about being together, not about showing up every day. I had this incredible girl who made me feel like the center of her universe, and I took it for granted. I stopped planning dates, stopped asking how her day was, stopped putting my phone down when she talked. She'd try to talk to me about it, and I'd brush it off with 'I'm just busy' or 'you're overreacting.' Eventually she stopped asking. Then she stopped texting first. Then she stopped looking at me the same way. The last few months she was just... there. Going through the motions. I remember the night she told me she didn't love me anymore - her voice was flat, no anger, no sadness. Just emptiness. In that moment I felt like someone had knocked the air out of me. I wanted to argue, to fix it, but I knew deep down I had no right. The worst part was seeing how little it seemed to affect her - she had already done her grieving while I was still pretending everything was fine. I think the real turning point was when I looked at our text history and realized she had been the only one starting conversations for weeks. I had been so checked out that I didn't even notice the silence until it was too late. There was no fight, no dramatic breakup - just a slow fade that I let happen. I understood that love isn't a feeling you fall into, it's a decision you make every day. And I stopped making that decision a long time before she did.

My First Stock Market Lesson

I invested my savings in the stock market without proper research, hoping for quick gains. I bought into a trending stock based on hype, not fundamentals. The price soared initially, but then dropped sharply. I panicked and sold at a loss, only to watch it rebound weeks later.

The Cost of Not Speaking Up for Yourself

The Cost of Staying Silent I believe that a lack of guidance at the right time can hold a person back in life. The situation becomes even harder when your family cannot support your career choices. Until 6th grade, I was doing well in school. Then financial difficulties changed everything. I had to study in a school with little educational support and almost no career guidance. From a young age, I was forced to make important decisions on my own, without anyone helping me understand my options. After completing intermediate, I was pushed toward the same path everyone else was following—a B.Sc. degree and competitive exams. I was never asked what I actually wanted. Deep down, I wanted to become a designer and build a career in a creative field, but I stayed silent. Over time, I realized that continuing on a path I didn’t believe in would only leave me with a degree, not a future I truly wanted. At that point, my younger brother encouraged me to speak up and fight for my own dreams. His support gave me the courage to express my ambitions and begin my journey in design. Looking back, my biggest mistake was not speaking for myself sooner. When families struggle financially, many of us feel guilty about sharing our dreams. But silence can cost years of your life.

My teacher harassed me and I stayed silent for months

I won't share my name, but this happened when I was in Class 11. One of my teachers started paying unusual attention to me. At first, I ignored it, thinking I was overreacting. But over time, he began making personal comments about my appearance and finding reasons to call me alone after class. As the months passed, I started feeling uncomfortable and anxious whenever I had to attend his classes. I was scared to tell anyone because he was a respected teacher, and I worried that nobody would believe me. Instead of speaking up, I kept everything to myself and tried to avoid him whenever possible. The stress slowly affected my studies and confidence. I began dreading school and constantly felt uneasy. Eventually, I gathered the courage to tell a trusted teacher and my parents about what had been happening. To my surprise, they listened, believed me, and helped me take the right steps.

Regret of My Mistakes

For the past 4 years I've just disappointed myself. Never really done anything productive. Even during my Boards and JEE days I was just scrolling and playing games. I guess I failed myself. Started coding but failed at that too, haven't written a single line of code in the past 7 months. I'm a fucking disappointment to myself. Currently working a job I don't even want to do but can't do shit about it. Feels like I'm stuck in a loop and I've lost all my energy.

Learning patience the hard way

I used to think love meant never having to compromise – that if someone really cared, they'd just understand without me having to spell it out. I was stubborn, impatient, and proud of it. My relationship with Alex ended because I couldn't let go of being right about the small stuff – how to split chores, whose turn it was to pick the movie, why I needed time alone. The final fight was over a text I didn't respond to for hours. They had messaged me after a rough day at work, asking to talk. But I was sulking because they'd forgotten to pick up milk. So I ignored it. When I finally answered, cold and clipped, they just said, "I can't do this anymore." I watched them pack a bag and walk out, and I told myself I was fine. But I wasn't. I felt hollow, like I had burned down a house just to prove I could strike a match. That night I sat alone on the couch, scrolling through old photos, my chest tight. It hit me: I had never actually tried to meet them halfway. I had treated compromise like a weakness instead of a glue. That realization didn't fix everything overnight, but it started a slow, painful shift. Every failed relationship since then has chipped away at my ego, teaching me that patience isn't about waiting – it's about respecting someone else's pace, even when it's slower than yours. I lost my pride, but I gained the ability to actually listen.

Favorite Person Became a Life Lesson

August 9, 2023. I was scrolling online and read, 'Nothing hurts more than your favorite person becoming a life lesson.' That hit hard. I'm over relationships now. Even if I kind of like someone, it doesn't spark anything in me. I regret reconciling with my long distance fiancée after she told me she cheated and thought she was pregnant by the other guy.

Tripda shutting down - another one bites the dust

Scrolling through Hacker News and saw the post: Tripda, Rocket Internet’s carpooling business, shutting down March 4. I used that app a few times. It worked okay. Now it's gone. Just another startup that didn't make it.

The SSC Exam Distraction

I was building a startup but got sidetracked by preparing for SSC exams. I spent all my time studying instead of working on my business. Eventually, the startup lost traction and I had to shut it down.
