Terms of Service

By accessing or using NoCrumbs (“the platform,” “the service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use NoCrumbs.

These Terms apply to all users of the platform, including registered members, visitors, and contributors of voice and text stories. By continuing to use NoCrumbs after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.

NoCrumbs is a voice-first platform where people share lessons learned from real-life experiences, setbacks, failures, mistakes, and comebacks. Our mission is to create a community of honest storytelling — where vulnerability becomes a source of strength and shared wisdom.

The platform allows users to:

• Create an account using email/password or Google Sign-In
• Record and upload voice stories capturing personal experiences
• Write and share text stories, lessons, and reflections
• Browse, listen to, and read stories shared by the community
• Engage with stories through reactions and conversations
• Build a personal archive of their growth journey

Creating an Account

You may create a NoCrumbs account using your email address and a password, or by signing in with your Google account via Google OAuth. Both methods are equally valid and provide full access to the platform.

Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep your account information updated. Impersonation of other users, public figures, or organisations is strictly prohibited.

One Account Per Person

Each person may maintain one NoCrumbs account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or platform rules is not permitted.

You Own Your Stories

You retain full ownership of all voice recordings and written stories you upload or create on NoCrumbs. We do not claim ownership over your content.

Licence to NoCrumbs

By sharing content on NoCrumbs, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:

• Host, store, and back up your content on our secure infrastructure
• Display and present your content to users within the platform
• Stream your voice stories to users browsing NoCrumbs
• Reproduce content as necessary to operate platform features (e.g., waveform previews)
• Distribute content within NoCrumbs and its features

This licence is limited to operating and improving NoCrumbs. We will not sell or commercially exploit your content without your explicit written consent.

Your Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for the content you upload, including voice recordings. You confirm that:

• You have the right to share the content you upload
• Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Your content does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Your voice recordings contain only content you are authorised to share

Deleting Your Content

You may delete your voice stories, written stories, and your account at any time from within the NoCrumbs platform. Upon deletion, content will be removed from public view. Residual copies may persist briefly in backups before being purged.

NoCrumbs is built on honesty, vulnerability, and respect. To keep the platform safe and meaningful for everyone, the following types of content and behaviour are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of any user
• Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
• Threats of violence or calls to harm individuals or groups
• Illegal activity, including promoting or facilitating criminal acts
• Spam, unsolicited promotions, or misleading content
• Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
• Impersonation of other users, public figures, or organisations
• Copyright violations or uploading content you do not own
• Sexual, graphic, or disturbing content that is not relevant to honest personal storytelling
• Content that endangers children in any way
• Sharing private information of others without consent (doxxing)

NoCrumbs is a space for real, personal stories. Content that is clearly fictional, misleading, or designed to manipulate the community is not permitted.

NoCrumbs reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to maintain the safety and quality of the platform. This includes the right to:

• Review any content uploaded to the platform
• Remove content that violates these Terms or community guidelines
• Issue warnings to users whose content or behaviour approaches violations
• Temporarily suspend accounts under investigation for policy violations
• Permanently ban users who repeatedly or severely violate platform rules

We aim to apply these rights fairly and consistently. Where possible, we will communicate the reasons for moderation actions. If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, contact us at nocrumbs.in@gmail.com.

All NoCrumbs platform design, code, branding, logos, typography, and product features are the intellectual property of NoCrumbs and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the NoCrumbs platform, brand, or codebase without explicit written permission.

User content remains the intellectual property of the respective creator, subject to the licence granted in Section 4.

NoCrumbs is a personal storytelling platform. All stories, voice recordings, and written content published on NoCrumbs represent the personal experiences, opinions, and perspectives of individual users.

NoCrumbs makes no warranties or representations about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of content shared on the platform. The platform is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NoCrumbs and its team shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform
• Loss of data, voice recordings, or content due to technical failures
• Actions taken by other users on the platform
• Temporary or permanent unavailability of the service
• Decisions made based on content shared on the platform

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to NoCrumbs in the twelve months preceding the claim (or ₹1,000, whichever is greater).

By you: You may close your NoCrumbs account at any time through account settings. Upon closure, your public content will be removed and your account data will be scheduled for deletion.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if we determine, at our discretion, that you have violated these Terms of Service, engaged in harmful behaviour, or jeopardised the safety of other users. For severe violations, termination may occur without prior warning.

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 7, 8, and 9) will remain in effect.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

For significant changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you via the platform or by email. Continued use of NoCrumbs following such notification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
